Our second month in Colorado provided the boys their first experience in organized sports! All four boys got their first set of cleats, shin guards, and long socks. We have been enjoying soccer as a family for a while, but it has been a gift to see them learn teamwork and receive coaching from other adults.
We sold the first house we ever owned, pack all of our belongings into two PODS not to be seen again until God knows when, crammed a family of 7 and supplies for 3 months into a minivan and cargo topper, then headed west to Colorado and the uncertainty of the next chapter of our lives.
Watching all the things we own be sold off, given away, trashed, or put into a POD is a good reminder that the most import things in life aren’t things.
I am stuck between two worlds. I hang in the balance between two cities. I am being forced to choose between two paths. I have walked the tight rope of waiting these past many months, but the live, forced, and momentous decision is upon me.
