“Do two people walk hand in hand if they aren’t going to the same place?”
Amos 3:3 MSG
“Every step an arrival”
The end goal of this journey is not a church plant. Yes, we are here to plant a church, but that is still a means to the true end of getting in on the life of God! So we begin with the end in mind. We imagine a community of people that are walking the Jesus WAY, as we proclaim the Jesus TRUTH, to get everyone in on the Jesus LIFE.
We aren’t looking for backers for a particular church brand, we are asking for partners who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. Biblical pilgrimage is the ever unfolding of our lives, which are gloriously grounded in creatureliness, into the life of God that was revealed most fully in the God-man Jesus Christ. Would you walk with us to that end - to that glorious beginning?
The path to planting will pass through three phases. Phase One (Summer 2021-Summer 2023) focuses primarily on my formation: serving alongside two local churches, finishing my masters, and seeking ordination. Phase Two (Fall 2023-Summer 2024) focuses on the formation of a core team. Phase Three (Summer 2024) is the formation of a new church!
Partners on the Path
-
International Anglican Church
IAC is one of the two churches we are partnering with in Colorado Springs (COS) and is one of the Charter members of The COS Anglican Network. The COS Anglican Network is an affiliation of Anglian churches within the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains desiring to plant gospel-centered, sacramentally-rooted, missionally vibrant churches across Colorado Springs, the Pikes Peak Region, and beyond.
-
Holy Trinity Anglican Church
HTAC completes the dynamic duo of charter members for the COS Anglican Network. HTAC is the second church in COS that will be overseeing our formation, the formation of a core team, and ultimately the formation of our future plant.
-
Vineyard Cincinnati Church
I served as one of the pastors at Vineyard from 2015 to 2020. Some of my best memories, ministry moments, meaningful friendships were formed amongst this body. The leadership of Vineyard graciously sent us to join the COS Anglican Network by gifting us 75% of our needed support for the first year. We would not be here without their generosity.
